We are really proud of the materials that we use, and we design with functionality and beauty in equal proportions whilst using only the very finest quality sustainable materials.

Sustainable Luxury

Our timbers are sourced from well managed, responsible forests where the cycle of clearing and replanting has been continuous for many generations. We opt for no packaging at all however sometimes we require the use of recycled cardboard that we recycle time and time again. Through using sustainable materials, recycling all our waste, and offsetting all our carbon emissions, we aim to have a positive impact on our environment.

Recycling

We strive to re-use and recycle wherever and whenever possible committing very little of our workshop materials to waste. Careful cutting lists and an eye for recycled design means nothing is wasted.  

Local

Our bespoke kitchens and furniture are all handmade in Dorset. By using Sterlingdale you are supporting local master craftsmen, fitters and designers living in Dorset.   Our master craftsmen make each piece of furniture using traditional techniques and modern machinery.
